AED & Advanced First Aid

CPR, AED and Advanced first aid through the Red Cross, is designed to equip professional rescuers, organizations and individuals who have job responsibilities that call for emergency response. with the skills necessary to respond adequately to emergencies. It prepares them to to respond to all types of emergency situations.

This course provides demonstration and practice for delegates. Delegates will learn how to:

• Administer first aid and CPR
• Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
• Give emergency care for infants, children and adults is covered
• Manage cuts. injuries, illnesses, and poisioning until medical assistance arrives
• Administer adult care in emergency situations

The Red Cross First Aid training programs provide certification to delegates who successfully complete their courses. It is important to note that these certifications do expire and require professionals to re-certify after a number of years in order to maintain their certifications. 100% class attendance and full participation in all practical exercises are required for the issuance of the certificate
