FOET – Further Offshore Emergency Training is the industry-standard refresher certification for personnel working in the offshore oil and gas industry. This OPITO-approved FOET training provides delegates with the opportunity to practice and demonstrate emergency response skills which are not possible to practice during drills, exercises and emergency offshore training.
Our OPITO-approved FOET training covers critical safety topics including helicopter safety, sea survival, fire fighting, and emergency first aid. Delegates receive hands-on training using state-of-the-art simulation equipment at our Deep Water Simulation Training Center (DSTC) in Port Harcourt.
Important: FOET certification is the mandatory refresher for all personnel with expiring BOSIET or T-BOSIET certification. This OPITO-approved course must be completed every 4 years to maintain offshore safety certification and is recognized by all major oil and gas companies worldwide.

Refresher training in pre-flight safety checks, helicopter emergency procedures, and Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) using our state-of-the-art simulation equipment.
Fire prevention, use of extinguishers, and practical fire fighting drills. Includes self-rescue techniques in low visibility and smoke-filled areas.
Primary and secondary emergency care, CPR, AED usage, and management of medical emergencies offshore.
Sea survival techniques, life raft boarding and management, emergency signaling, and use of survival equipment.
Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System usage for helicopter underwater escape.
Scenario-based drills and exercises to practice and demonstrate emergency response skills.
